The Delta Rifles of the North-South Skirmish Association will be hosting a CAMP OF INSTRUCTION on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at Brierfield Ironworks State Park from 10am to 3pm.
We will teach basic instruction in musketry, including firearm safety, equipment use, and loading, and firing as used during N-SSA competitions. Training will be conducted by experienced competition shooters under the supervision of an NRA Certified Muzzleloading Instructor. The day will culminate with trainees participating in a simulated competition course of fire at breakable targets!
What: Range & Civil War-era musket SAFETY, basic MARKSMANSHIP principles, demonstration of N-SSA competition course of fire.
Who: Hosted by experienced members of the Deep South Region of the N-SSA, including NRA Certified Muzzleloading Instructors and Range Safety Officers.
Where: Brierfield Ironworks State Park, Brierfield, Alabama.
When: Saturday July 20th, 2024, 10am until 3pm.
How: The event is FREE, but you must register.
Brierfield Ironworks State park charges an admission fee:
$4 Adults (12 years and older), $3 Seniors (Ages 62 and older)
$3 Children (Ages 6-11), Ages 5 and under free
